Our Products & Projects
A top-tier water management firm, Century Technologies in Coimbatore offers cost-effective end-to-end solutions for water treatment, wastewater treatment plants, sewage systems, salinity, and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) systems. We have knowledge in designing low-cost treatments for difficult-to-treat wastewater. Our area of expertise is integrating our personnel for the project's successful functioning.
Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)
Waste produced by household, educational, industrial, and manufacturing units is referred to as sewage. STP plants clean the sewage so that it is suitable for proper disposal, use in agriculture, or home use in toilets, among other uses.
To enhance the quality of wastewater for recycling, sewage treatment plants use primary, secondary, biological, and tertiary treatment processes.
Wastewater is produced as a result of expanding infrastructure construction and increased water use for home and commercial needs.
Primary Treatment:
In the first phase of treatment, sewage is sent through a screen to catch any big floating debris. To lessen the number of heavy sediments in the shredder, pipes, and ducts, grit treatment is required. Primary sedimentation tanks are the next stage.
These tanks are often rather big, and the particles fall to the bottom by gravitation and are evacuated as muck. Oil floats to the top and is scraped off in the meanwhile.
Secondary Treatment:
Two distinct treatment methods make up secondary therapy:
1. Aerobic Treatment: This biological process for treating wastewater breaks down organic debris and removes other contaminants like nitrogen and phosphorus using oxygen. Aerobic treatment is typically used in the process of sewage treatment.
2. Anaerobic Treatment - Anaerobic treatment in Century Technologies in Coimbatore is the method by which waste products or other materials are by microbes without the use of oxygen in the water. However, anaerobic bacteria can and will utilize the oxide present in the system's supplied oxides as well as the organic matter in the effluent.
Tertiary Treatment:
The third step of treating wastewater, tertiary treatment, is also referred to as advanced treatment. It involves procedures including electrodialysis, nitrogen fixation, denitrification, ion exchange, adsorption of activated carbon, and filtering.
Every building's sewage outflow has to be treated, and treated water should then be used for cleaning floors, washing, and toilets.
"Save water, save the planet"
This is how wastewater is treated by Century Technologies in Coimbatore and most of our clients trust us in the entire process of treating the wastewater.
